In May 2024, the RX atmosphere system designed and manufactured by Gauss Control was officially delivered to GKN HUAYU Driveline Systems Co, Ltd. This system includes four 160M3/H RX gas generators, eight RX gas flow distributors for heat treatment equipment, a 270-meter-long main gas supply pipeline, and an information collection system for heat treatment equipment. The new system uses pipeline natural gas as the gas source for RX and enriched gas and replaces the original primary hazardous chemicals such as methanol, acetone, and propane, thereby greatly reducing safety risks while also significantly lowering production costs.
As early as 2022, Gauss Control successfully completed the first phase of the transformation, including two 60M3/H RX gas generators and a data interaction system for heat treatment equipment. This system provides protective gas for the heat treatment automatic production line of Italy's CIEFFE
The new system will supply protective atmosphere and flow control for Ipsen continuous furnaces, ChugiRu continuous furnaces, and several multifunctional furnaces.
